WazirX started in 2018 with a simple belief — crypto should be accessible to every Indian. Over time, we grew into one of India's most widely used crypto platforms, serving millions of users and driving adoption through initiatives like #IndiaWantsCrypto.

Tested Under Pressure
In 2024, WazirX faced a globally significant cyberattack, later attributed to advanced threat actors. The incident tested every part of the platform — from infrastructure to decision-making. We responded within hours, fully transparent, fully accountable.
CHAPTER 03
Rebuilt for What's Next
What followed was a structured recovery, platform restart, and a shift toward stronger systems, institutional custody via Fireblocks, and user-first execution. Today, WazirX is focused on building the next phase of crypto infrastructure.
